  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 2/3 C. sugar
  • 2/3 C. light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbs. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 C. blackberry jam
  • 2 1/2 C. Bisquick

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in blackberry jam until well blended. Stir in baking mix 1/2 cup at a time until well blended and batter has a dense pound cake batter consistency. Butter and flour and 8 X 8 baking pan and pour in batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes, until dark golden brown and knife or toothpick in center comes out clean. Slide knife or spatula around all 4 sides and remove from pan onto cooling rack. Serve warm.
