  • 1 package of refrigerated three-cheese tortellini
  • 2 T. butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 T. all-purpose flour
  • 1 C. milk
  • ½ C. half-and-half
  • 2 oz. cream cheese
  • ¼ C. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 T. fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper

In a large pot, boil water, and cook the tortellini according to the package. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the garlic and red pepper flakes. Whisk in the flour until it is lightly browned. Mix in the milk and half-and-half until it is thick. Stir in the cheese until it melts. Season it with salt and pepper. Add in the tortellini and serve. Garnish it with parsley and enjoy.
