I always double this recipe so there is enough to go around. I make this blue cheese dip every time I go to a summer barbecue and I never have to worry about bringing home leftovers- my friends and family literally eat it up.

Serving Size / Yield

4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. blue cheese
  • 6 oz. butter
  • 1 Tbs. yellow mustard
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. brandy
  • (optional green olives)

Directions

Let the blue cheese and butter sit at room temperature. Cream them together with mustard, nutmeg, and brandy in a large bowl. When blended, transfer into a serving dish and garnish with olives. Serve at room temperature with Melba toast or crackers. Be sure to store in an airtight container if you do have any left over.
