Apparently, you can make anything in a crockpot! Try this delicious blueberry dump cake recipe - it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Ingredients

  • 21 oz. can blueberry pie filling
  • 18 1/4 oz. yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 C. butter, melted
  • 1/2 C. chopped walnuts

Directions

Pour pie filling into crockpot. Combine dry cake mix and melted butter. Sprinkle cake mix mixture over pie filling. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours.


Yield: 8-10 servings

  • It was not clear that you had to make the cake according to the box directions. My cake out horrible & YUCKY! It was like gummy bear chewy and didn't look nothing like the pic. I had to throw the whole thing away.

  • I tested this at a party. It "cooked" for 3 hours and never looked right and no one would touch it.

  • This recipe is very UNCLEAR how to make this cake, NOT SO EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Took 8-9.5 hours to make, not the 2-3 hours it staed. came out tasting horrible and still mushy in the middle. My low is 300 degrees. My Family BOOOOOed this cake that I made from these instructions. Won't make that mistake again...

  • I couldn't find Blueberry Pie Filling so I use 2 cans of Blackberry Pie Filling. Everyone at the church group really like it. Instead of in the crockpot I put it in 9x13 dish, bake at 350 degree for 30 min. or until it's light brown on top.
