Ingredients

  • Store bought angel food cake
  • 3 C. fresh blueberries
  • Frosting:
  • 1 C. milk
  • 2 Tbs. flour
  • 1/2 C. shortening
  • 1/2 C. margarine or butter
  • 1 C. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

To make the frosting put the milk and flour in small saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and cool. Beat shortening, butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add paste and vanilla and beat until consistency of whipped cream. Spread this frosting on the top of the whole angel food cake.  Then garnish with fresh blueberries.
