  • 2 ¼ C. flour
  • 1 T. salt
  • ¼ tsp. ground cumin
  • ¼ C. cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 1 T. paprika
  • 1 ½ tsp chili powder
  • 2 ½ lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 C. water
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 C. hot sauce
  • 2 T. butter

Mix together flour, salt, cumin, cornstarch, pepper, paprika, and chili powder in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl add wet ingredients: milk, egg, and water.

Cut your chicken breast to bit size pieces. Dip the pieces in plain flour, the wet mixture and then in the seasoned flour mixture.

Fry the coated chicken in a large frying pan half filled with frying oil over medium high heat. Cook until golden brown and chicken is cooked all the way through, 5-10 minutes. Dry chicken on clean paper towels. Mix the hot sauce with melted butter and toss cooked chicken in a large clean bowl with the hot sauce mixture.
