Bourbon Baked Beans
Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 2 large onions, diced
- 8 cans (16 ounces, each) pork and beans, drained
- 1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 C. ketchup
- 3/4 C. bourbon
- 1/2 C. molasses
- 2 Tbs. dry mustard
- 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large Dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp. Drain on paper towels; set aside. Add onions to drippings in skillet. Sauté over medium heat until translucent. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer, stirring to combine. Pour into 4 qt. casserole. Top with bacon. Bake, uncovered, 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Makes 16 to 20 Servings.
