Ingredients

  • 6 med. tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 C. loosely packed fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 C. loosely packed fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed with press
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 16-oz pkg. bow-tie or ziti pasta

Directions

In large serving bowl, stir tomatoes, mint, basil, olive oil, lemon peel, garlic, salt and pepper; set mixture aside to allow flavors to develop.


Meanwhile, in large saucepot, cook pasta as directed. Drain well. Add hot pasta to tomato mixture in bowl; toss well.
