Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork spareribs
  • 1/4 C. garlic, diced
  • 1/2 C. white wine
  • 3 Tbs. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 Tbs. fresh basil chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large heavy braising pot, cook ribs until brown on both sides. Place ribs to a baking sheet and bake until tender for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Add onions and garlic to pot. Cook until onions are translucent, then deglaze with wine. Simmer for a couple of minutes. Bring back to a simmer, and add the cooked pork ribs, parsley, basil, salt and pepper, to taste. Simmer on low to medium heat, covered, for another 1 1/2 hours. When ready, garnish with other desired toppings like green onions.
