This is a very easy recipe that is so thick you can slice it. Very moist and tasty. I make this anytime of the year.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf raisin bread
  • 1 Tbs. cinnamon
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 C. evaporated milk
  • 1 sm. jar apple sauce
  • 1/2 C. sugar

Directions

Mix all ingredients together, except 1/2 the applesauce. Grease casserole dish. Put mix in the casserole dish. Top with rest of applesauce and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place in preheated 350-degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
