Bread pudding with fruit and marshmallows.

  • 2-3 loaves hard old bread
  • enough milk to saturate the bread
  • 1 sm. pkg. lg. marshmallows
  • 1/2 pkg. dried cherries
  • 2 C. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 C. ground cinnamon
  • 3 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 C. dried raisins

Grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish. Place bread in dish and pour enough milk over it so that it becomes saturated. Mix in all the other ingredients. Spread evenly in the dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until edge is slightly brown. During the last 5 minutes, add a few more marshmallows.
