Breakfast Pizza Roll
Ingredients
- 1 can pizza dough
- 1 sm. onion, chopped
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to pizza dough directions. In frying pan, saute sausage until just done. Add onion and cook until just soft. add tomato sauce and mushroom soup. Cook until warm. Add half the cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat and cool.
Unroll pizza dough and spread meat mixture away from edges. Add more cheese on top. Starting at wide end, roll the dough over the meat and cheese.. Seal the edges. Place on cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven until brown. When removed from oven, sprinkle a little leftover cheese on top and cool for 5-10 minutes. Slice into serving size pieces.
