Yet another great recipe to make ahead for the most important meal of the day. Made with eggs, milk, bacon and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust; softened
  • 1 C half and half (or milk)
  • 4 eggs; beaten
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 bacon slices; cooked

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Line the piecrust in a 9-inch pie plate. Set aside.

In a bowl, whisk the half and half, eggs, salt and pepper together. Set aside.

Take the lined pie plate and layer the cooked bacon and cheese onto the piecrust. Then pour the egg mixture over it.

Place the plate in the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes until the egg mixture has set. Poke a fork into the middle and if it comes out clean, remove. If not, add an extra 2-3 minutes.

Let the plate cool for 5 minutes before serving.
