Breakfast Quinoa
Ingredients
- 2 C. quinoa
- 1 C. water
- 1 C. thinly sliced apples
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- Cream or milk for topping (optional)
- Raisins (optional)
Directions
Add all ingredients to heavy pot with lid. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and cover pot. Simmer for about 15 minutes. It is done when seeds are transparant and no longer white and all water is absorbed. Serve warm with cream or cold.
