Breakfast Wassail

This tangy breakfast juice has the right amount of zing with whole cinnamon sticks.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (64 oz.) cranberry juice
  • 1 bottle (32 oz.) apple juice
  • 1 can (12 oz.) frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
  • 3 to 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 qt. water, optional

Directions

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine juices, concentrate and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for an hour. Add water if desired. Serve hot or cold.

Yield: about 4 qts.
