  • 8 C. chopped broccoli florets
  • 1/3 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 C. chicken broth
  • 1 C. sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and cook the broccoli for 3 minutes in boiling water. Put the flour, salt, and mustard in a saucepan and heat over medium. Slowly add the milk and broth while stirring. Cook for 8 minutes and remove from the heat. Add the cheese and Parmesan while stirring. Put in the pepper and broccoli and toss to coat. Spoon the mixture into a baking dish. Bake 15 minutes until bubbly and serve.
