  • 12 oz. rotini pasta
  • 1 bag broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 large red pepper
  • 2 C. marinara sauce
  • 1/4 C. fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 C. grated Parmesan cheese

Boil the pasta according to the directions. Add the broccoli to the pot in the last 4 minutes. Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium. Add the red pepper and cook about 8 minutes while stirring. Pour in the marinara and cook another 2 minutes. Drain the pasta and broccoli and add them to the skillet. Season with basil and garnish with Parmesan before serving.
