Broken Glass Torte
Ingredients
- 2 C. crushed corn flakes
- 3/4 C. melted butter
- 1 sm. pkg. lime Jello
- 1 sm. pkg. orange Jello
- 1 sm. pkg. raspberry Jello
- 1 C. chopped peaches
- 1 C. peach juice
- 3/4 C. sugar
- 2 C. sweetened whipped creamed, stiffly beaten (or substitute Cool Whip)
- 2 tsp. gelatin
- 1/4 C. cold water
Directions
Mix corn flakes with butter. Line the bottom and sides of a 13x9 inch cake pan with buttered corn flake crumbs; set aside. Dissolve each Jello package in 1 1/2 C. boiling water and put in shallow pans to set. When set, cut into small squares. Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Heat peach juice and sugar, and when hot, stir in gelatin. Add peaches. When this begins to set, add to the whipped cream. Then add the cut Jello. Pour mixture onto corn flake crust. Refrigerate until set.
