Serving Size / Yield

4-6 servings


  • 5 oz. Wholemeal Flour
  • 2 oz. Fine Oatmeal
  • 2 oz. Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tbs. Barley Malt Extract
  • 2 tbs. Peanut Nut Oil
  • 1 tsp. Bicarbonate of Soda (Baking Soda).
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 3/4 cup Stout Bear
  • 1/2 cup Butter milk

Start by mixing the dry ingredients together in a large bowl and sift.
Now mix together stout and buttermilk in a separate bowl and pour into the first bowl.
Mix in two tbs. of oil and barley malt.
Start making balls with your hands and sit on a tray.
Sprinkle oats and sesame seeds on top.
Bake for about on 425 degrees for 12 minutes.
