  • ½ C. ketchup
  • ½ C. brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp. chili powder
  • 1 ½ lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 C. breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ C. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Form into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Spread sauce over the top of meatloaf and bake for 1 hour until no longer pink in the center.
