  • 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
  • 1 C. red currants
  • ½ C. brown sugar
  • 1 T. malt vinegar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, combine currants, brown sugar, and vinegar and bring to a simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Unroll crescent rolls and separate into 8 triangles. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon currant sauce in the center of each piece and roll up. Bake for 15 minutes until golden. Garnish with a dusting of powdered sugar and extra currants.
