Browned Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 med. head cabbage
- 3 lg. garlic cloves, finely chopped
- crushed red pepper
- 1/4 C. olive oil
- salt
Directions
Trim the outer leaves of the cabbage. With a large knife, cut the cabbage into quarters. Cut out the core. Cut the cabbage into bite-size pieces. In a large pot, cook the garlic and red pepper in the olive oil over medium-low heat until garlic is golden, 2 minutes. Add the cabbage and salt. Stir well. Cover and cook, stirring often, for 20 minutes, or until cabbage is browned and tender. Serve hot.
