4 sundaes


  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces chocolate
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup chocolate liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • One batch of your favorite brownies
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Stir together the brown sugar, whipping cream, liqueur, cocoa powder, and half of the chocolate in a pan. Add the syrup and salt and cook over medium heat until the chocolate melts. Boil the mixture then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the stove and add the rest of the chocolate, the butter and vanilla. Stir the mixture and allow it to cool for half an hour. Put chunks of brownie at the bottom of sundae glasses then top with ice cream. Drizzle the sundae with your homemade hot fudge! Feel free to create several layers of brownies and ice cream.
