Buffalo Chicken Calzones
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 C. warm water
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- 2 Tbs. oil
- 2 3/4 C. flour
- 1 lb. of boneless chicken breast--cooked
- enough buffalo hot sauce to coat the chicken
- 2 C. mozzarella cheese
Directions
For Dough:
Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl. Stir in salt, sugar, oil, and 1 C. of flour. Mix enough of the remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Cover with bowl and least rest for 5 minutes.
Roll dough into four 10-inch circles. Place coated chicken over half of the dough. Add 1/2 C. of cheese. Fold over and crimp edge closed. Place on foiled and greased cookie sheet. Cook for 25-30 minutes in 375 degree oven. Brush with melted butter after 15 minutes.
Serve with ranch on the side.
