A delicious classic! Buffalo chicken wings have the perfect combination of crunch; tanginess and sauce that makes it so great to have as a side or appetizer. Served with fresh celery sticks and a side of blue cheese dressing.

  • 2 ½ lbs chicken wings
  • 2 C all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ C butter; melted
  • ¼ C buffalo sauce
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • Celery sticks
  • Blue cheese dressing
  • Oil for deep frying

In a bowl, mix in the flour, cayenne pepper and salt. Set aside.

Prepare a large pot for deep frying.

Toss the wings with the flour mixture until it is well coated. Then slowly lower them into the hot oil. Allow it to cook for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. When done, remove and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Fry the chicken in batches and repeat till all the pieces have been cooked.

Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix in the hot sauce, butter and lemon juice.

When the wings are done, add them into the sauce mixture and toss until well coated.

Then, arrange them onto a serving plate and serve with a side of celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
