Butter Crusted Chicken

Add some butter with paprika and spread all over uncooked chicken to get this fantastic taste and then cook all together.

  • 1 (2 to 3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut in pieces
  • 1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 C. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt

Skin chicken, if desired. Wipe chicken with a damp cloth and place in greased 9-by13-inch baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients until well-blended. Spread paste on top of chicken pieces. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes and at 300 degrees for one hour.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
