This sauce is goes perfectly with cranberry cake!

3 cups


  • 1 C. half-and-half
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1 C. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbs. rum

Heat half-and-half, sugar and butter slowly until sugar dissolves.  Add vanilla and rum.  Bring to a boil.  Remove from heat.

Serve with: Cranberry Cake
