  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 c. of chicken broth
  • salt and pepper

Melt butter in a saucepan with squash, carrot, and onion. Add chicken broth, bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste, stir in half-and-half. Place the mixture in a blender, and blend until smooth. Serve.
