  • 2 lb. extra lean beef, cubed
  • 1 butternut squash, cubed in bite-sized pieces
  • 2 large potatoes, cubed in bite-sized pieces
  • ½ onion, diced
  • ¼ tsp. allspice
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 C. boiling water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare and chop beef and vegetables and toss in crockpot. Add allspice, garlic, salt and pepper; mix thoroughly. In a medium saucepan, boil 2 cups of water and dissolve 2 beef bouillon cubes. Once granules are entirely dissolved, pour broth over beef and vegetables in crockpot. Cook on high for 4-6 hours. Use a slotted spoon to serve beef and vegetables with your choice of a side or serve as a stew.
