Butterscotch Sauce

This is a great-tasting sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. vanilla caramels
  • l/2 C. heavy cream
  • l tsp. vanilla

Directions

Melt caramels in top of double boiler. Add cream and vanilla. Mix thoroughly and heat. Serve hot. One-quarter lb. marshmallows quartered may be added, if desired.
