  • 4lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1½ stick butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 6 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped

Cook the potatoes in a large pot of water until tender. In a small pan, heat 1 stick of butter until melted and continue to cook until it browns. Mash the potatoes with cream and butter and add salt and pepper to taste. Melt the remaining butter in the pan. When serving, top with bacon and the melted butter.
