  • 1 ½ C. flour
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 1 C. pumpkin puree
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • Dash salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat in eggs, pumpkin puree, and butter until well combined. Pour batter into a heavily greased loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes until an inserted knife comes out clean. Cool completely, remove from pan, and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
