Cacajuates Con Chile
Ingredients
- 4 C. canned, roasted Spanish peanuts, in their red skins, salted or unsalted
- 1 lime
- 2 tsp. chili powder (any pure, unblended type)
- 2 tsp. Kosher salt
Directions
Just before serving, heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Put the peanuts on a baking sheet and heat for 10 minutes. Put the hot peanuts in a bowl, squirt the lime juice over them, and mix. If the peanuts are salted, add only chili powder. If they are unsalted, add the chili powder and salt. Mix very well and serve warm.
