  • 2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 Tbs. cold unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 C. crushed candy canes

Line a square baking pan with nonstick foil, leaving an overhang. In a small saucepan, combine the chocolate chips and condensed milk. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is smooth. Add the butter, vanilla, and salt and stir until the butter has melted. Spread the chocolate mixture into the pan evenly and sprinkle the top with candy canes. Press the candy gently into the top of the fudge. Refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours. Use the overhang foil to move the fudge to a cutting board and cut into squares before serving.
