It's hard to get the necessary three layers to work in shooter cubes, so we put layers of vodka-flavored Jell-O in little glasses and garnished them with whipped cream, to be eaten with a spoon. If your glasses are bigger than a small shot glass, you should cut down on the usual cup of vodka per box of Jell-O. You can substitute other liquor to improve the taste. Of course, these can be made without liquor.

  • 3 C. water
  • 3 oz. pkg. pineapple or lemon Jell-O
  • 3 oz. pkg. orange Jell-o
  • 1/2 C. Limoncello liqueur
  • 1/2 C. orange-flavored vodka or rum

Add 1 C. boiling water to package of pineapple or lemon Jell-O. Stir to dissolve. Add one-half C. Limoncello liqueur and one-half C. cold water and stir. Pour into small glasses. Chill until set. Add 1 cup boiling water to 1 (3-ounce) package of orange Jell-O. Stir until dissolved. Add one-half cup orange-flavored vodka or rum and one-half cup cold water. Let cool, then pour on top of the yellow Jell-O layer. Let set.
