  • 8 ounces of fresh mozzarella
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 loaf of baguette bread
  • 3 tablespoons basil
  • Olive oil
  • Pepper

Begin by chopping the mozzarella cheese. Next, cut the tomatoes in half or thirds depending on the size you prefer. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees to toast the baguette. Cover a cookie sheet with foil and lay the slices of bread on the foil. Cover the slices with olive oil and bake for 9-10 minutes or until they are golden brown. Top the toasted bread with the mozzarella, then the tomatoes and finally sprinkle with pepper. Add basil leaves for a finishing touch.
