  • 1 package caramels
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a brownie pan to begin. Mix the caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in a saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly and set aside once melted and smooth. Mix the melted butter, remaining evaporated milk, and cake mix in a large bowl. When the dough sticks together, press half of it into the greased pan. Bake for 10 minutes and then sprinkle with chocolate chips and pour caramel sauce over the brownies. Crumble the reserved dough and drop it over the caramel layer. Bake for 18 minutes and then chill in the fridge before serving.
