  • 2 eggs
  • ½ C. butter
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 1 C. sugar
  • ¼ C. water
  • ¾ C. cream
  • 3 ½ T. butter
  • 1 tsp. sea salt

Mix together the butter, eggs, and sugar until well combined, then add in the baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Once combined, alternate between the mashed bananas and flour until all the ingredients are incorporated. Pour the batter into a greased bread pan, then place the pan into your crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves, then bring to a boil. Once the mixture becomes an amber color, remove from the heat and whisk in the cream. Stir in the butter and salt, then pour into a dish and cool. Pour the caramel sauce over the bread, then top with more sea salt.
