Caramel Custard

This is a super great recipe everyone loves!

  • 1 3 C. scalded milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 5 eggs

Caramelize sugar and add milk. Cook over low flame until sugar dissolves. Add mixture to beaten egg. Add salt and flavoring. Pour into custard moulds. Bake from 30-40 minutes in 300-325-degree oven. Put moulds in pan of water while baking.
