  • 10 C. popped popcorn
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3/4 C. brown sugar
  • 1/4 C. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. butter extract

Pop your popcorn however you desire (stovetop, microwave). Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. In a saucepan add butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, mixing evenly. Remove from heat and add in vanilla and butter extract. Stir together. Spread popcorn on baking sheet and cover with caramel mixture. Lightly toss. Cook for 1 hour, stirring popcorn every 15 minutes. Let cool, break apart, and serve.
