These caramel pecan biscuits make a great dessert! I adapted this recipe from a yeast dough recipe that my Mom had. Much quicker and way more easier. And they're just as scrumptious!!

Ingredients

  • 1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 C. butter
  • 1/2 C. light corn syrup
  • 1 C. coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 10-ct. tubes buttermilk biscuits

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees or temperature specified on biscuit tubes. Heavily grease two 9-inch round cake pans and set aside.

In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Cook until sugar and butter are melted and smooth. Pour mixture into prepared pans and sprinkle with pecans. Arrange biscuits over the caramel mixture, one tube for each pan. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.

Let sit out of the oven for a few minutes and then, using hot pads, invert each pan onto a serving dish. Serve warm from the oven.
