Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients
- 3 quarts popped corn
- 1/2 C. butter (1 stick)
- 1 C. brown sugar
- 1/4 C. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Melt together the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Stir constantly and bring to a boil, turn heat down and cook gently for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat, add the baking soda and vanilla and stir (it should fluff up). Place popcorn in large roasting pan and pour syrup over popcorn and stir until evenly coated. Bake in 250 degree oven for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Cool, break and eat!
