  • 2 bananas
  • 1 pound cake, store bought or handmade
  • 1 1/2 C. dark chocolate pudding
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1 C. heavy cream
  • 1 T. creme de banana liqueur

Slice your bananas thinly and lay on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with some of your sugar and caramelize with a handheld blowtorch. Flip banana slice over and repeat. Set aside. Add the whipping cream and 2 T. sugar to a bowl and whip together. Add liqueur and continue mixing until desired consistency. Slice pound cake 3/4 in thick to fit serving dishes (individual parfait cups). Place a layer of pudding at the bottom of each cup. Add the disc of poundcake and cover with caramelized bananas. Spoon banana whipped cream on top. Repeat layering process if using larger cups or until ingredients run out. Chill and serve.
