Not all desserts need to be made in an oven, so get the grill ready for these caramelized grilled peaches. Each half is topped with gooey caramel, and you can even add nuts or graham crackers to get a crunchy taste. They’re the perfect dish to have if you're already grilling meat.

  • 4 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 C butter
  • 2 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C whole milk
  • 1 Tbs. canola oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Coat the peace halves with canola oil and cook on grill until tender.

Add brown sugar, milk and salt to a saucepan and stir over medium-low heat. Add in butter and cook until caramel sauce thickens and butter melts, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Allow to cool a bit and drizzle over warm peaches.
