  • 1 lb. cooked linguine
  • 6 tbs. butter
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 C. button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbs. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbs. fresh parsley, chopped

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook following package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, warm 2 tbs. butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in mushrooms, basil, salt and ground pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until mushrooms are soft.

Add remaining butter and olive oil to skillet. Stir until ingredients are well blended. Remove sauce from heat and serve over cooked pasta.
