Casserole Sauce Mix

Use this bouillon-based sauce with any casserole to increase flavor and add variety.

Ingredients

  • 2 C. instant non-fat dry milk
  • 3/4 C. cornstarch
  • 1/4 C. instant salt-free chicken bouillon
  • 2 Tbs. dried onion flakes
  • 1 tsp. dried basil (optional)
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Store in airtight container. Makes 3 C. of concentrate, which is equivalent to 9 10 1/2 oz. cans of condensed cream soup.
