  • 3 ½ cups water
  • ¾ cups grits
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Boil the water in a pot over high heat and then add the salt and grits. Stir the pot and lower the heat. After 3 minutes, add the pumpkin, pepper, and cheese. Cook for 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Stir and serve
