Cheese Garlic Grits
Ingredients
- 1 C. Quick grits
- 4 C. Water, boiling
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 4 oz. Butter
- 12 oz. Cheddar cheese, sharp
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbs. Garlic powder
- 3/4 C. Milk
- dash Frank's Red Hot Sauce
Directions
Cook grits in boiling water until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in butter &
1/2 the cheese. Beat egg with garlic powder, milk & hot sauce. Add to grits.
Pour into buttered 2 Qt casserole. Top with rest of cheese. Bake 1 hour at 350.
