Cheesey Grape Balls

Cut these fruity balls in half and serve as a cocktail savory.

  • 24 medium seedless grapes
  • 1 Tbs. chives, chopped
  • 1 Tbs. parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbs. fruit chutney
  • 1 tsp. gelatin
  • 1 Tbs. hot water
  • 1 C. ricotta cheese
  • 2/3 C. walnuts, finely chopped

Wash and gently dry grapes. Mix ricotta cheese, chives, parsley, chili powder and fruit chutney together in a bowl. Dissolve gelatin in the hot water and add to the cheese mixture. Coat each grape with about 1 tsp. of the mixture. Roll into small balls then coat lightly in walnuts. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours to set.

Yield: 48 ballsĀ
