  • 2 lbs. pork sausage
  • 2 apples, sliced and peeled
  • 1 container of biscuits
  • 6 cups shredded 1/2 inch biscuit pieces, made from the biscuit container
  • 9 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated or shredded
  • 3 cups milk
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Start by cooking sausage in a skillet on medium heat, break into pieces while it cooks.
Remove from skillet and saute apples in the skillet with the fat.
Once done remove apples.
In a bowl, whisk together mustard, cheese, eggs, and milk together.
Add in sausage and apple slices to the mix.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place biscuit pieces into a large ziplock bag and add the mixture.
Double bag the ziplock mixture.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter a 9 inch baking dish and pour mixture inside.
Sprinkle extra cheese on top.
Bake cover for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for anoher 30 inutes.
